As per the new Companies Act 2013, the company has to inform ROC about the auditors appointment or re-appointment within 15 days from the date of appointment / event. Form ADT-1 to be filled up manually and signed. It should be scanned as pdf file and attached with Form GNL-2 (online form) and filed online with MCA.
Kindly inform what are the mandatory attachments to GNL-2 other than ADT-1. This question arises because the law is not very clear in this aspect. Further the Form GNL-2 is not mentioning anything about mandatory attachments in such situations.
Some of the learned members of the forum are mentioning that following are the attachments to Form GNL:-2
(1) Form ADT-1
(2) Appointment letter issued to the auditors by the Company
(3) Extract of the resolution passed by the Members
(4) Consent letter received from Auditors
MY HUMBLE OPINION IS IT IS ENOUGH THAT IF WE ATTACH FORM ADT-1 AND THE APPOINTMENT LETTER OF THE COMPANY WITH FORM GNL-2.
