Hello friends

I have exams in May.I have done all other subjects but havent even started Financial reporting or Accounting Standards.

I want to complete them in maximum 15 days

I know doing it fully is not possible, but please tell me which topics are most important.Which should be done first and which can be left for last?

Thanks

To complete FR in 15 days from zero is tough job. I don't want to discourage you, nothing is imposible! My suggestion is start from easy topic like value added statement, then valuation, share based payment, financial instrument, corporate restructruing, AS. If you may do this well in time then go for Consolodated Fin Statement.

As mr Rafi has said

Start with easy chapters . Try to consolidate your position.

Amalgamation, Valuation and standards is must to secure high marks. Can leave out consolidation if you havent done any of it before as it is time consuming. Amalgamation basics are done in ipcc.

best of luck. strive hard

One more suggestion. Please make note of all the important steps in a seperate note book so that you can able to revise more than two times in the eve of the exam. And do all sums from icai material, practice manual and others. Ex: sh based payments there are 11 or 12 sums in material but only few extra sums in practice manual. All the best.

Hi Sourabh,

Even if you are referring FR for the first time then also 15 days are more than enough.

All small chapters like Value added statement,Economic value added statement, etc can be completed in a single day.

Then you can go for valuation part. It should not take more than 2 days.

Then accounting standards- Max 5 days

Then amalgamtion- 2-3 days

Then consolidation- 3-4 days.

Hope this helps.
