you must have to register yourself for finals right now & simultaneously register for articles also..... Since there is no such last date for registration for finals, you must do it right now....

Thanx Raghav, cud u tell me till which date should i apply for articleship so that i cud appear in first attempt. N one more thing i want to know y u adviced to get registered now? I mean is there any particular reason. I m just asking so that i cud advice others also, whenevr required

Particular date is not specified for  this, because it takes time to find CA & induce them to accept you as article if he/she has vacancy in their firm... 

So, As soon as possible, you have to get yourself registered for articleship.... so that your 3 years training period of articleship begins .... Further delay means delay in completion of articleship... so i m advising to start your articleship as early as possible... 

Form 102 and 103 are to be filled in this respect...

Further, i am advising to got yourself registered  in finals right now because, modules of final course will be provided to students only when they have completed their final registration,

so, as early you have been registered for CA Finals, you will get your study material from institute i.e. modules... & therefore you can start your studies also..

I hope this will clarify your doubts.... If any more help you need, then shoot it ..! I will try to solve your all queries...

Thanx a lot. Now i'm in dilemma regarding my articleship. As i'm working in a manf. unit under a C.A. I can continue my articleship under him. But there are two problems one is he is DISA qualified and the main is whether i'll gain knowledge in every field or just related to that prop. firm. I've heard that in CA firm first we are not given any work related to our field lest we are provided work as an clerk as to file papers, typing etc and the stipend is also very less. May i know ur experience i.e. from where u r having training and what kind of task was given in ur early days.

Well,, regarding my experience, i m undergoing training from a mid sized partnership firm, where we find a lot of diversified works.... For a fresher , beginning of articleship is really more interesting as you are facing new tasks .... but you must have an attitude to finish all asssigned tasks in time..... For this you have to devote more time also....

In my early days of articleship, i was assigned tasks like preparation of Balance sheets & P/L of companies & their schedules  , filing of income tax returns, tds returns , vat forms, tally work , going to audit with my seniors, etc ....

If your employer is matured person , then he will not assign you silly tasks like file papers,

As a professional, he will try to induce professional qualities in you... May be in the beginning you are assigned mere tasks, but in the beginning everyone has to learn all things from basics, so once you gain confidence of your employer, then you are given major tasks as well.... 

But all you need is to find that firm where diversified work is being handled, otherwise your knowledge level will not be enhanced....

As your employer is DISA Qualified, i think its beneficial for you as you will assigned work to that particular field , but it increases your knowledge in that field also,,

Regarding low Stipend, we cant do anything, ICAI has prescribed minimum stipend for all cities as per their population.... So , it will be according to the prescribed norms..
