Can CA Institute decrease the actual number of marks received by a candidate in exams during the 'Verification of Marks Procedure'..??

In "FAQ on verification of answersheet" on icai site it is clearly written that during verification marks can be decreased, increased or kept as it is.
Dont worry Harsh.........it has never happened till now.......& it doesn't make any sense too.......
So relax......
During Verification of Marks it can be decreased, incresed or kept as it is. However The chance to decrese marks is low. as the same is depend on your Answer...
Dont apply for reverification of the paper in which u have scored exemption.
