Hello ...

Can u plz suggest me how to prepare for the second group of CA Final for May 2012.

I gave my attempt in this last Nov 2011 n got the undermentioned marks:

Group I

Financial Reporting 43

Strategic Financial Mgmt 55

Auditing 51

Law 68

Total 219

Group II

Advanced Mgmt Accountng 39

ISCA 42

DT 38

IDT 55

Total 174

Grand Total 393

So culd not get through 2nd grp.. Although I just devoted 1 month for 2nd grp bt knw plz suggest how to go for study agin n how to make grip on the subjects dat i get through the next attempt.....

Plzz help for study pattern..

Bro actually i want to ask how did you study law n accounts and which chapter you give preference.My attempt is in may 2012

Start with theory in ama and isca-- devote atleast 2Hours each daily from now. By the end of Feb u can cover 60% isca. And once you complete theory part in ama-- go for OR part. By the time you take leave you should atleast complete 2 subjects which is not a big task if u plan as per your strengths. 68 in law means You can crack theory subjects well. So plan accordingly. Leave tips for our friens law prep:)

Thnx RAVI TEJA S .. But i need to clear here that i am done with my articleship part n only concentrating for the exams..n plz can u also suggest me how to do preparation for each of the subjects ..i mean how to go for practcles of DT and IDT..

And as far as Prep. of LAW is concerned, Krishan agrawal u should for Allied law first..n ur 30 marks are covered then go for directors (approx 20 marks) n then other chapters...

And while answering do mention the topic u r refering as heading before analysing the facts of the questions...u will score well..

And regarding Accounts though i culd not score well although my paper was not that bad bt anyways i ll tell u my way of prep.. go for valuation of goodwil first then small chapters ( human resource, value added etc.) and then amalgamation.. this way u will cover approx 40 marks then go for accounting stds totalling to coverage of 60 marks den go for holding etc...
