Unstructured learning credit

Dear Colleagues,

I read somewhere that "Self Declaration form for claiming unstructured CPE hours has to be submitted once in calendar year at any time." In advisory on unstructure CPE learning activities I also read that "The members are required to submit their Self‐declaration in the form  once in a year on or before 31st May, to avail the CPE Hours Credit for the ULAs undergone by them in the previous calendar year.( like for Calendar Year ended 31st December 2014 i should submit the form on or before 31st May, 2015.)

I want clarity regarding date for submission of Self Declaration Form for the calendar year 2014. Also would it suffice if the Self Declaration Form is duly filled, signed, scanned and mailed to cpesec @ icai.in or do I need to physically hand it over to ICAI?
