can a central government employee claim his nps under section 80CCD(1b) which is deducted from her salary

additional upto rs 50,000 is allowed as deduction u/s 80CCD(1B) on employee s own contribution to NPS. it is not covered u/s80CCE overall limit of rs 1,50,000
