As per both comapanies act i.e. old & new, if unpaid dividend unclaimed for 7 years as they due shall transfer to Fund i.e. Investor Education & Protection Fund. Once such dividend transferred to fund, shareholder has no right to recover it.
Is the same provision applicable to interest on bonds that cumulates and received as maturity value?
