Quick Summary
If your client's Input Tax Credit (ITC) has been blocked by the GST department, it's often due to exceeding the 10% threshold for credit not reflected on the portal, as per Rule 36(4). To unblock it, you'll need to visit the jurisdictional officer. Be prepared to answer questions about past returns and claimed ITC. Satisfactory explanations should lead to the unblocking of the ITC, which can be checked on the GST portal.
As your client take more than 10%of credit from the invoice that is not in portal the jurisdictional officer blocked it so you have to go to the office he will ask you questions regarding return statement of that particular period or say month and the itc your client claim give the answer some time they surtiny the as per their satisfaction if they satisfied with your ans they will unblock it you can check that on portal in service section
