What to do if I am unable to register on income tax e-filing website?

Respected all members,

I am unable to register on Income tax E- filling website due to the error message displayed is "Enter Valid 6 digit Pin Code" and unable to process it further. I have also verified my Registered address (mentioned below) with Local jurisdiction Officer, it is same as I am providing for registration process and also forwarded these query with Local Juridication Officer but the authority said to contact Efiling authorities. I also had conversation for the related query with help-desk (Online Contact us desk of General Queries and E-filling) and the authority suggested me to send the documents and error screenshot on help-desk mail. I am trying to contact the department for last 15 days and also posted in grievances portal to resolve the error but I couldn't got positive response.

Kindly provide me suggestions on this query.

Did you enter the pin code and corresponding post office correctly? can you share the screen shot of the error?

Use chrome if you are not using.

While typing pincode press enter instead of clicking on next tab.

me also facing same problem. i tried internet explorer also.

and chrome too.

its saying enter valid pincode.

please help.

Hi Guys,

Try using Incognito Mode whenever registering.

P.S.: Technical Information: Using Incognito mode in any browser helps in not using cache, in Layman terms it won't be using your history that you have, which will help in loading the page as new. Means that the website or the page is opening on the device for the first time, it also helps in not filling the page automatically.
