Unable to Download GSTR-3B after Restoration of GST Returns Data on Portal

On September 24th, 2024 GST portal implemented policy to archive return data older than seven years where we have seen July and August 2017 returns are already archived.

On September 29th an advisory issued that the data has been restored. It happened due to taxpayers demand as they were facing issue.

But despite the restoration taxpayers are still facing errors when trying to download GSTR-3B:

For July 2017

For August 2017

The error is - Something seems to have gone wrong while processing your request. Please try again. If error persists quote error number S0000 when you contact customer care for quick resolution.
