Hello members,
please clarify wheather a dealer say "MR XYZ " sales their products/services through Amazon/Flipkart then is he considered as e-commerce operators ?
or normal supplier??

As Per Sec. 2(45) of the CGST Act, 2017 E-commerce operator means any person who owns, operates or Manages digital or electronic facility or platform for electronic commerce.

Mr xyz will be consider as a normal supplier.
yes but purchasers can't take ITC even Mr xyz hav GSTIN
No.... ITC will taken by recipient from XYZ's invoice.
he is Normal supplier but he is complusory get registered under GST irrespective of turnover
when I purchase (computer Spares for office use)Amazon/Flipkart
they told me can't take ITC

It means Supply on behalf of E-commerce Operator
@ Arunn Yes you cannot take ITC if your GSTN is not mention in Bill

ITC can be taken if gstin mentioned on bill 

u have to provide gstin to get it mentioned 

they refused when I was asked

He will be a Normal Supplier under GST.
