Kindly Let me know what is the consequences of the TWO TIN'S if we have in the same state...what isbest way to close the one TIN if we have already two TIN's .And we have filed the returns with one tin one location in same stae for some period and for other for some period ..now almost two years have passed after the abve transaction..please suggest how best we close this transaction.

Although your problem is state specific VAT law but i am giving you general understanding:
If you have 2 TIN for same organisation then it is permissible if the operations are altogether different and you can run both TIN as seperate one like payments, return other correspondences but if the operations are not different then one (preferabally second TIN) TIN has to be surrendred with covering all the facts systamatically.
your assessment would be done for different TIN.
It's better to approach department with all facts and close this matter as early as possible.
