Yes... You can take registration if both business verticals are different.

As per Sec 25(2) - A person carrying on multiple business verticals in a state or Union territory may be granted a separate GST registration for each such business vertical subject to such conditions.

1. Earlier same PAN different registration possible only when new business is different in nature as compare to existing one

but later (Means Now)

2. Now. You can apply no of registration in same state, same PAN and having same business.

Definition of Business verticle contained in section 2 (18) of the CGST ACT has been ommitted . New Rule 11 enumerate condition for Separate rgistration for multiple business verticle has also been subsequently subsituted vide notification no. 03/2019 CT dt. 29-01-2019. therefore a person can get more than one registration irrespective of busniess verticle (As ommitted ) on same PAN in same State/ UT. for example Mr. B a supplier in Delhi has for branch branch - out of four three engaged in supply of  Garment and one supply of  Steel. Now with a view to above notification Mr. B Can obtain four registration for each four Brach in Delhi state. MK Tax Classes.
