Turnover limit for trading excisable goods

For trading other than the self manufactured goods, simple intimation is sufficient.Separate invoice  book should be maintained for such purpose.This book does not require as required in excise invoice. There is no applicability of central excise law, hence no limit of turnover.

1. You can do the trading activity in same premises but you should maintain separate account. 

2. You should continue separate series of invoice for trading activity. If you want to pass on excise duty to your buyer in that case you need to register with excise department as a dealer. 

3. There is no turnover limit for trading purpose.

what would be Staff Limit, Minimum T/O. etc.

I want to know what is the limit of Turnover on trading / manufacturing of exisesable products for registration  under Central Exise Act,India.

SSI exemption is available to manufacturer only upto 1.5cr. No exemption is available for trander if they are pass the duty.
