Trust Registration under Income Tax

Good Morning Members !

In registration of Trust under Sec 12 A

1. while filing Form 10A what documents need to be attached ?

2. whether we have to visit Department for the same or NOT ?

3. Annual Financial Statements for 3 years is mandatory ?

The required documents might be

Schedule (registration application attest with a court fee INR 100)
Trust deed of requisite value on a stamp paper.
Declaration by all the trustees along with their signature.
Letter of consent by the settlor attest with a court fee INR 10/.
Identification proof of all the settlors and witnesses along with passport size photographs.
Gas, electricity, or water bill of the registered address.
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the owner of the property (trustor).
Settlor’s signatures on every page of the trust deed
Trust Deed Encloses the Following Details
Trust’s Motive
The trustee and settler’s basic details include name, occupational background, designation, age, contact information, etc.
The total number of trustees.
Address of the Trust’s registered office.
Trust’s proposed name.
Copy of the identification proof of trustee and settler.
Photos (passport size) of trustees and settlers.

The process for applying for 12a registration and form 10a filing has been made online only with the digital signature of the signatory. to obtain 12a registration, an application in form 10a for registration of charitable or religious trust or institution must be made online to the commissioner of income tax along ...

1. You can get list at the time of submission of Form 10A like Trust Deed, Annual Financial Statememts of Last 3 years, Members list, Bank Statements etc.

3. Yes if Trust has been in existence from last 3 years.
