Treatment of interim dividend
Hi,
Please let me know how interim dividend is to be disclosed in the Financials under the Companies Act. To clarify, the interim dividend is being paid out of reserves & not current years profits. Thanks in advance!

Under the Companies act 2013 Dividend should be shown under Reserve & Surplus schedule to be reduced from Previous Year Profits.

No,it is appropriation of income.
