treatment of esi in income tax
can I claim deduction of esi deducted from my salary. while computing total income?

Yes. You can claim deduction under section 80C
No... ESI amount can't deductible under sec 80C....
ESI cannot be deducted from total income. I have read that as EPF instead of ESI . Sorry
