I AM A TRAVEL AGENT. I AM SELLING AIR TICKET SERVICE , VISA SERVICE AND HOTEL BOOKING MY CURRUNT INCOME IS BELOW 6 LACK DO I NEED TO GET REGISTERD IN GST ???

MY OPRATING MATHOD IS I PURCHASE AIR TICKET AT 1000 I ADD SERVICE CHARGE OF RS 100 ON IT SO MY SELLING PRICE IS 1100/- AND I WILL GET 5 RS COMMISSION FROM THAT 1000 RS ALSO SO MY TURN OVER IS ONLY 105 RIGHT ????

SO PLEASE ADVICE DO I NEED TO GET REGISTERD WITH GST OR NOT..

THE SAME THIS IS HAPPENING IN ALL SERVICES THAT I SOLD PLEASE ADVICE.

Don't need if your turnover for service not above 20 lahk

If you are supplying Taxable service on behalf of Taxable person , then registration is Compulsory irrespective of turnover for agents as per section 24 V(ii) of the CGST act 2017 .

As far as I know, travel agents have a very interesting job, but it would be better if they offered some translation services, as there can be some issues with documents when you are travelling to another country. Last month I needed documents translation from english to russian, and I didn't have enough time for preparing it, and the agent didn't offer translation help. I'm glad I found a good service that did the translation in a short time.
