We are in the mining business which deals in dolomite mining.Every day we sent invoices to our client .The bill details dolomite lumps @ Rs 820 per tonnes + gst @ 5%.
On this Rs 820 per tonnes ( Rs 660 - cost of goods sold + transportation charges @ Rs 160 per tonnes is included). Do we have to pay gst tax on transportation @ Rs 160 @ 5% on reverse charge basis( transportation done by road).can we claim itc on the truck purchase for transportation of dolomite lumps

Transportation charges is included in cost of goods and hence there is no need of GST payment under RCM. In case a separate invoice for the transportation charges is issued then GST is required to pay under RCM.
