Hi Sir/Madam,
My employer does not show Transport allowance in form 16 because in salary slip, as they said that they have mentioned total amount of telephone and transport allowance. Due to that, I can't claim deduction in itr return.
I cannot argue with them because I have not strong evidence.
Please help me to get strong answer to them for Transport allowance exemption.

don't worry sandeep, just take the amount allowable as deduction of RS 19200 p a for transport allowance under income tax.
