Transition Scheme CA Inter > PEII > PCC

Old Course 2309 views 5 replies

Hi Frnds...
registered CA course in 2000 and cleared my inter 1st Group (in 2003) and completed my 3 years article ship in 2003.
I could not continue my studies due to various personal reasons.
 Can you please advice:-
 1) Will it be possible for me to continue my studies under new Scheme with old registration?
2) whether my 3 years of article ship and passing of 1st group will be considered when shift under the new scheme
3) Kindly tell me what is the procedure and fees for this transition (if it is possible)
If I cannot continue studies with old registration, then do I need to reregister again from the first?
I would highly appreciate your quick reply in this regard.
We would appreciate your response...
Regards

Hi, Mr. Prasad,

I am also facing the same problem and could not find the right way to re-start my study.

I have completed my articleship in 2001 but still not able to clear any group and not able to continue my C.A. study.

Now, I re-gain my interest to re-start the same but waiting for the right solution.

If, you find any solution for the same, kindly let me know.

Hi Friends,

Due credit will be given in the new scheme who had already passed any groups in the old schemes. You can' t continue with old regn number and you can see your new number by going to the website 'ICAI Virtual Institution'. To renew your regn you have to pay Rs500/- and it will be valid for another 5 years. You will not be asked to do articleship anew as already you had completed it. The only thing you have to do is to switch over to new scheme i.e. PCC by paying the required fees.

Due credit will be given in the new scheme who had already passed any groups in the old schemes . But the notification is not yet out for people like us.

I dnt know what is stoping them from it.

Please keep us posted on the developments.

Hi friends,

please take help of e-sahaayataa on ICAI web site.

post your doubts there.

I was given answer in a  one day time by institute which solved all my doubts thanks and hats-off  to ICAI.

My advice is to take max help of this facility because reply from ICAI is authentic and reliable than anybody else.

thanks

regards
