Quick Summary
This discussion explores the tax implications of transferring tenancy rights. It questions whether amounts shared with the original landlord can be deducted from the tenant's capital gains. The general consensus is that any amount received by the tenant from the transfer is taxable as a capital gain.

Whatever is received by tenant is taxable as capital gain.
But sir tenant shared some profits with landlord (1st owner) ....then will tenant get deduction of such from capital gain ?
