I along with some friend invested in a pvt limited company which initially had 3 directors (subscribers to MOA/AOA). Since I am director in another company and have DIN, they included me as a director and subscribed few shares passing a resolution. Now the copmany informed us that they are in the process of transferring / issuing new shares to adjust the shares of the company according to the contribution by each share holders and we signed a share transfer forms.
My question is how can we confirm the legitimacy of the share certificate and how can we check how much share each shareholder / director is holding. Since we are not very familiar with company laws and proceedures, we just want to confirm that the company is actually executing what they informed us. Also please specify how can i check whether i have been added as a director.
