i have purchased it under Vat. So what should i do..?

Similar provisions is there in respective SGSTs. I think u claim vat credit also. please check the eligibility of ITC under GST read with section 17(5). Also the availability of the credit on CG in transit is a matter of litigation.

Truck is my capital goods use for goods transportation and also in Trans-1 6(a),6(b) there is showing details of capital goods for which unavailed credit has not been carried forward option....then why do i put the credit in sec 140(5) when specsifically given "CAPITAL GOOD" in 6(a) 6(b)???

Table 6 is relating to section 140(2) of CGST, wherein it pre supposes the existence of a capital goods and where you have not availed credit or partly availed situation.

In your case you the truck is in transit as on 30.06.17 and it does not fall under section 140(2), it is a case of 140(5) however in 140(5) there is no reference to CG.

Your question is exactly correct...

You can't avail ITC as purchased a TRUCK in previous Tax (VAT) if can't transport business...
