Trade mark

Intellectual propery 1668 views 2 replies

An Indian company wants to  export goods to  Spain. They want to use the country name "Spain" as part of their trade mark. ie. the export goods will bear the trade mark  "xxxxxspain" assuming that their Indian trade mark is "xxxxx". Is there anything illegal in using other country name as part of trade mark ?
