A Private Limited company has appointed a director as additional director in it`s BOD.Is there any procedure to be followed to regularize his appointment? or it is deemed that he is appointed as regular director?

Additional directors appointed under section 260 will hold office only upto the date of next AGM.
To make them regular directors, you need to appoint them in the AGM by passing ordinary resolution.
