Balu is a great member and knowledge base, no one want to loose that knowledge ocean.

I Agree with Balu and share the same feelings.

Concerns about forum replies, wastage of time and unrelated communication are some reasons that many people are going off Caclub site.

Even i receive repeated powerpoint messages, quotes, motivational threads for reply in my inbox.

I know what is useful for me and what is not and never waste my time towards replying them.

In words of our noble profession, "CA can only be done if u believe that u have it in you to become a CA ... It's not enough to be intelligent to become a CA... Have that urge to be called as a “Chartered Accountant” one day"

If you are sincere in your actions don't care about the results.

Good news is that you are not alone who share the same feelings and we will always reply your genuine efforts.

My advice for you Sir: Just stay, enjoy good professionals and utilize your time and energy for the betterment of sharing knowledge.

After Exams were over and there was a summer vacation; students and others enjoyed the facility provided by caclubindia.

For whole year they worked hard. 

Let the results and peak audit periods come; all the inspirations and fun will go away - instantly.

See How it will happen : 

Inspirations will turn down to Fun and Fun with turn up to Inspiration !! 

(Many good speakers and mentors use humour during their lectures. It is a skill which is required to be used in our daily life - it is my belief). Life would be more interesting.

It is upon us what we take from the site. 

Out of so called 412272 members; only 317 members are interacting and most of them are engaged only for professional sharing. One can check right now. 

2621 guests are here who of course are searching for good professional materials. 

So it is not a matter of worry at all. 

Let the people do what they like. We cannot stop them. Even we cannot force all the 4 Lacs members to share their views !! 

We should do our best.  Of course; if certain wrongs are happening; it should be stopped immediately which I think is being done already. 

In school also; all students come to read. After whole year's study; what we find ? Only 20% get first class ! Pareto's rule is applicable everywhere. 

Practically 20% will utilize the facilities.

Mr. Dashrath one can easily notice that even Top Members are posting such threads and replying in promoting their contributions for the same.

What follows is the reciprocal effect.

Top Members must also think of the same before quitting hopelessly

BUT THIS IS SOMETHING REALLY - REALLY CONFUSING FOR ME EVEN AFTER THIS LONG JOURNEY AS I COMPLETELY FAILED TO UNDERSTAND THE PURPOSE OF "OTHERS SECTION"

LACK OF CLEAR CUT GUIDELINES FROM ADMIN MAY BE THE REASON....BUT WE MAY CONSIDER THIS POST AS AN EXAMPLE CUM GUIDELINES.

I don't understand , what is the meaning of OTHERS FORUM? In the above compilation , some post like AIIMS message, Handbook for life... etc. are not waste. They do give something. I think a clear cut definition is required for OTHERS FORUM. 

I do agree some post are waste, but not all in the above compilation. I am with Surendra sir views. I think members don't follow forum rules. If that is followed, this problem of waste discussion(not relating directly/indirectly to our profession) can be rectified.
