dear friends,

I am a banker, in marketing division, my highest qly Graduate in Maths, I m doing other banking related certification from IIBF, these days i found banks prefers CA/ICWA certified professional more often than a bcom, I not even fall under commerce stream. I like to know, with 9 years of sales & marketing exp, to crap a good job,

1.can i take up CA course now?, i cant take break in my present job, but i m eager to study.

2.Can I by pass any of those pre-qualification course(CPT) ?

3.is articleship compulasary to go to final?

Dear Saravanan,

Yes, u can surely join the CA course.

In my view any student can pass the CPT & even the Final, but u need to put the required effort.

Articleship is cumpulsory for 3 yrs, so im sorry u will have to leave ur job during that period as per the rules.

U cannot join intermediate leve i.e. IPCC directly, first u have to pass CPT.

u can wait for the official announcement which says that graduates can join directly the intermediate level. The announcemnt is likely to be declared in 2012.
