I have submitted Form 13 online with the help of my CA in Hyderabad on May 1st. Till now status just shows Pending with AO. How long will it take for the lower TDS certificate to be approved ? If It's been almost a month. Will it just stay with Pending with AO status there until we approach the tax department in person and pay some money to the AO? Can someone who has applied recently please share their experience ?

AO will reply within 30 days of receipt of application, most probably may ask for any more documents that may be required for its approval.
My own application submitted in mid-Jul 2023 is showing as pending AO after one round of clarification. Is there any way to get in contact with AO to find what's the holdup? Or raise a grievance through any portal?
Evaluate the status of the application by personally visiting the AO office.
