Provisions of Time of supply determines as to when the levy of GST arises. These are same as Point of Taxation under erstwhile service tax provisions. It is basically the trigger point of GST. In other words, no GST could be levied to taxable supplies earlier than the time as determined in accordance with the provisions of Time of supply. Thus, in order to determine when the liability of GST arises and when the same must be charged to the recipient and when the same must be paid to the government, the manner of determination of Time of supply as stipulated under GST must be seen
