If six monthly reurns are filed on 20th april 2011, for period ending 31st March 2011
as mineral dealer , what is time limit for filinfg vat audit report
a) online filing
b)filing of hard copy with the dept by what date & whether it is obligatory as per law.

1) THE TIME LIMIT FOR FILING VAT AUDIT REPORT 704 OF F.Y 10-11 IS 31ST JAN 2012. ALSO THE TIME LIMIT FOR REVISING THE MVAT RETURNS OF F.Y 2010 - 11 IS 31ST DECEMBER 2011.
2) YOU DON'T HAVE TO FILE A HARD COPY OF THE VAT AUDIT REPORT 704. WE CAN FILE IT ELECTRONICALLY. WE JUST HAVE TO SUBMIT THE SIGNED COPY OF THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT (SIGNED BY DEALER AND CA) OF THE VAT AUDT REPORT 704 TO THE MVAT DEPARTMENT
