no news for extension till date and i dont think it will get extended.
Deccan Chronicle had this news of Extention... but now it is removed...

Even CA Corners had the same news but now the words has changed there...

whereas when you search on google it will still show the original wording of CA Corners....
now till there is not any notification issued by IT department but accourding to last few year experiance it can extend.
