threshold limit for service
what is threshold limit for service suppliers and why it is not increase to 40 lakhs....I m photocopy shop n it is very difficult

For service suppliers it is kept at 20 lakhs, because there is no cost of goods supplied in services, as in supply of goods.
agreed..but business like us of photocopy shop..we have so much input like paper. 50 Percy..ink.. light..etc...yet counted as service with 18 perct
Overall it costs to consumer, not over service provider!!
ok..bt if we go for composition scheme at 6 Perct for service..we can't claim inputs..so technically we give 6+ 12 or 18 perct gst as applicable for our raw material purchase ..hence we end up paying more and all go through Jassi which goods provider don't....ok

I used pay pay 50 paise per copy before GST, but not now!!!
now what means...if u r talking of increase in price per copy...do u know the cost of paper and labour
dear percy : when you have done so much calculation & know that this scheme is not fit for your business then why dont you go for regular scheme or scheme which suits to you...
