Dear Students,

Many of you have written about the ways of approaching the CA examinations and tha schedule of study, books to refer etc etc.In addition to all of this which take up our time, there is a distinct thrill in being a CA student. For instance,we get to have a lot of fun during the interim period...i.e.may-july and non-jan.We enjoy ourselves to the maximum because of the doubt arising due to the results.Once the result comes out obviously there are 2 outcomes.

Outcome 1:Clearance of Exam

In case of an ipcc student once he clears an exam he is engulfed in a series of emotions. He realises that he is only 8 subjects n one exam away from becoming his dream. He might take a lot of attempts but the passage of time makes us more perfect in the subject and the taste of success is even more sweeter.!!!Obviously in case of a CA final student, once he qualifieshe goes hysterical and prances around in happiness.Who wont? come on ppl its CA...not a joke....as typical senior CAs would say. Some folks get angry when they pass....angry at their detractors who always thought they would fail...a slap on their faces is the way the result proves to be.To shut a mouth of a person who is your detractor gives you a certain sadistic pleasure which words won't suffice to describe.Similarly the passage of time, the no. of attempts will just please you when you achieve the inevitable.

Outcome 2:Failure in Exam

Failure. The word which causes jitters to every person. No no no i want to be anything but a failure is the reaction of children when they write the first exam of their life.Friends,Failure in CA is not equivalent to failure in other courses or other degrees for that matter.Failure in CA is precious. It has to be treasured. Why?It gives you an opportunity to achieve expertise and perfection in your subjects. You will never study the subjects with the same passion and concentration if you pass your exams.Failure makes you updated in your subjects, makes you an excellent conversationalist with a fellow CA student or for that matter,a Chartered Accountant.!!!It provides an impetus to your professional life.Failure in IPCC is hard to take especially when the student has cleared his CPT examinations in flying colours. The method of examining students undergoes a drastic change at the second level which foxes the students big time!!!Nothing to worry.U got to take your failure at IPCC lightly and work towards clearing it with ease....Failure in CA final is pretty common. But whatever you might say it makes you closer to the subject....the process of failing in CA final makes you develop a strong affinity with all the subjects and makes you fit for life as a CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT!!!!!All the best and do well in life!!!!!
