The reason why ca final result got delayed

bt dan d hearing date ie. 18th jul wud hv been known by d icai well in advance....soo y did dey still kept d result date 18th jul nly????

@ Priya, last hearing was on 13th, and Institute had announced date probably on 13th morning.

I don't know what happened that time but Institute had might be trying to settle it outside or might be expecting disposal of case that time.. this is just a guess

 

This is not the only case against Institute, even in the past many students have filed such cases for various reasons

(shivangi and others) Hi, waiting for results like many others. But reason behind this post is; am very much confused after reading many other comments about results. Need your answers for 1. How is hearing gonna affect results (after all we get marks for what we write) ? 2. How can institute MANIPULATE results (i feel this is just hearsay) 3. Is there any scaling method used by institute (if yes then why its not mentioned any where in marking scheme so i again feel this is a rumour too) 4. Why admin removes several threads ; i understand some may not be relevant to be posted on this site but then what about many others related to ICAI ? Lastly, thanks for your comments in pcc i used to feel how lucky are final students getting results before time and this time :-D well you know bye

Jasmine, those people said that they were planning to / or had filled application before the high court to cancel the whole evaluation of May 2012 exams - although this surely seems impossible.

 

As per Chartred Accountant's act, the Board of Studies has powers to regulate marks of all students or particularly some section of students in one or more or all subjects. This enables ICAI to alter the passing percentages.

I know some threads are removed.. even this may be removed. It may be due to the same pressure that prevents news papers and channels from showing news about such cases filled against ICAI

I am happy to hear this & all students should raise voice against it together if its happening actually.

Dear Shivangi Can you please tell us the source where can we check the update of the today's hearing of the subject case which we are discussing?

SNEHA DAGLI, u speak as though manipulations are acceptable, personally i think instead of manipulating the answer scriptts the Q papers should be difficult so that the so called pass percentage can be kept in control. Why cheat when it can be done in a fair manner.
