Termination of Articleship_Pls Help!!

n terms of regulation 56(1) of the CA Regulations,1988 the permissible grounds are : -
1) Transfer/termination of articles is permitted without any restriction during the first year of articles.
2) During rest of the articleship period on satisfying any one or more of the conditions as stated below :-
a) medical grounds requiring discontinuance of article foa a minimum period of three months ( on production of a medical certificate isued by a govt hospital).
b)Transfer of parent(s) to another city.
c)Misconduct involving moral turpitude.
d) other justifiable circumstances/ reasons :-
i)Industrial training.
ii)secondment of articles.
iii)convertion from PCC to IPCC.
iv) death of principal.
v) ceasing of practise of principal.
vi)removal of name of the principal from the register of members.
e) marriage basis only if relocation to another city > 50 kms.
f) irregular payment or non payment of stipend.
g) articles desires to serve blance period of training outside India.
h)shifting by the principal to another city involving distance > 50 kms.
N.B :- the articled assistant is required to get the consent of the institute before getting form 109 signed by the principal in their own interest.

u should give a HAND WRITTEN application with form no. 109 to institute, if they consider ur problem genuine, u'l get transfer

n u can also use the service of ICAI "E-SAHAYTA" on WWW.ICAI.ORG.

How long this procedure will take? I mean if am giving 109 with a letter stating my prblms along with the consent of my principal how long it will take to confirm by the institute?

it will take atleast 1 month.

i took termination last year from my prev ca. on medical grounds...the process takes 3 months..i submitted 109 in sept n received confirmation letter in december

If institute is accepting my termination, when i can join in some other firm? Whether there is any time limit for this? On the receipt of  the confirmation letter from the institute only we can tel that they have accepted the same. I think it may take 1 or 2 months. After that only i can join somwhr else right?

yes u can join after recieving confirmation letter from ICAI,,,be calm there is no timelimit for registration with next CA Firm.............u ncan join when u want 

hey pls tell me wat r d medical grounds for which transfer can be taken? is it neccesary dat medical certificate shud b of govt. hospital?

medical certi is necessary to b taken from a govt doctor...

Sir i am doing articleship in anantapur from the date of 12-2-2009 in sreedhar chartered accountant office. i am compleatred nearly 3years articleship period. now i want to take leave/ termination for 1 year. Can i take leave/termination sir     Please guide me sir
