Tender expenses in case of lost of tender

whenever we incurred some tender expenses if we lost the tender then how to treat the expenses?

infact it is the one and only income source to the assessee.

can anyone quote the case laws favouring the allowablity of loss as per I.T.Act

normal business expenses. charge them to profit & loss a/c under relevant head.
