TDS RRR No Not applicable
Hi, I have filed TDS Return (Q3) while downloading the acknowledgement it shows RRR Not applicable. What does it mean..?? Where do i get this RRR no.

It means return not filed, we also faced the same issue and file return again

If Tds filing was done through TIN centre then you will get only token number and RRR is not applicable .
If Tds filing was done through Income tax e filing portal then you will get RRR number from deductor login on e filing portal.
After login to deductor check the e filed returns and select Q3 either 24Q or 26Q and click on view RRR number.

As query itself says that return filed through incometax website.
When acknowledgement is downloaded , how can you say tds return is not filed ?

If RRR number not generate , it means return not filed. Generally it is due to either error in json or on portal.

Thats the query , there was error in Q3. I faced the same issue, that's why I m relying.
It will take few minutes to generate RRR and there is no issue in the IT portal..
Logout and login after 1/2 an hour and you will get the RRR number .

Just it was error in Q3, normally I never faced such issue.
Every quarter, it will take time. Atleast few minutes to generate RRR.

I know this, but these error was faced by us only in quarter 3 and party paid penalty for the same also.

but in my case the RRR is showing as "NOT APPLICABLE" but the return status is "PROCESSED"
How about that ?
