TDS returns belated filing- 234E vs Interest
Sir. Belated TDS RETURNS filing will attract 234 E late fee. But if such late fee payment is delayed, then interest is charged. Is it correct?

late filing of TDS Return shall be penalized for Rs. 200 per day from the due date to date default continues but does not exceed the amount of TDS deductible . (Sec 234E)
