TDS / TCS 765 views 3 replies

Hi everybody,

There is no TDS deductions since may years as our business last few years is almost NIL, but as per the requirement, I am filing the NIL returns regularly. Could any body can advise me that, is there any way to avoid this paper work till we re-start our business.

Thanks and regards,

Suresh babu

No. U hv to file Nil Statements if there were no transactions.

Infact, as per amended Rules, applicability of which is postponed to 01.07.2009, every person holding TAN should hv file quarterly as well as annual statements/returns eventhough transactions are 'NIL'. There is no escape route.

Thanks for your kind clarification

Regards,

Suresh Babu

you have to file even nil.  because u have TAN  no.
