I have one query related to TDS ----
If Company deducted TDS of any person say "X" under any section and that person file Income tax return and claim refund and also got refund of the same from ITD.
Now If the Company revised its TDS return and add anather person instead of "X" then can that person also get refund if he file return and ask for refund.?
PAN correction is allowed by TRACES for only One Alphabet + One numeric field.
In case, PAN is completely changed, even the deductor may get TDS Demand.
Mr. Ashish Bansal., Kindly update., The Maximum of PAN correction is allowed in "1" deductee row is 2Alphabet + 2Numerics. If you want to Completely change the invalid PAN to new Valid PAN, you have to remove the error row.
Yes I know what is your question is the removal of rows are not possible...... but I'll say anything is POSSIBLE.... you have see it properly......
