Tds refund amount havent consider (got intimation under 143)

Hi Team,

I have a got a intimation letter from Income tax department under section 143 (1) of Income tax act 1961. which Gives a total income of 1.36 out of which my previous income is 78k (where my previous employer have deducted TDS) , while filling my return with the current company i gave them the form 12b (of earliear company ) & form 16 of this company which states clearly in IT computation sheet that i am entitled to receive a claim of 8k where as i didnt get any such information on IT intimation it doesnt shows any refund amount ..it only shows my Income of 1.36... Please advice how should i go ahead on this ...

Write to your AO u/s 154 rectification of mistakes in assessment u/s 143 (1), enclosing all relevant documents proving that you are eligible for a refund for the assessment year under consideration.

Before filing of Rectification U/s 154, you check with your 26AS statement online. If you got credit in 26AS statement then you go ahead with Rect. U/s 154. Otherwise they (IT people) also helpless.
