04 January 2014We have received intimation u/s 200A of the Income Tax ACT that a sum of Rs 51,520 has been determined payable in respect of statement filled .When we run the details of defaults given in the justifcation report which is available in Traces(www.tdscpc.gov.in) wefind in the "Amount consumed to the extent available" column to be Zero in the challan details .
Please help with the rectification procesdure?

sir, please go through justification report ( by download and open in excel using utility )
in that you can see how they made demand of rs. 51520.. then do accordingly.
if the demand is for late filling u/s 234E then you have to paid it and file rectification of tds return.
provide more details of demand calculation to get better help..
