I have query relating to Tds and i need your opinion
An Indian client has purchased a machinery from abroad which includes installation charges also. should the indian company deduct the TDS or not? if yes then under which sec and why?

Section 195 of the Income tax Act, 1961 shall apply.But you have to see DTAA with the respective contries.
Sec.195 of the Act shall be attracted and one has to verify DTAA with the respective country.
