I have worked as a CS Trainee in a Pvt. Ltd Company for past five months. During the course of the training, they have deducted 10% as TDS on my stipend. They promised me to return the deducted amount after an year. At present i have terminated my training there. I just want to know whether i am entitled to the deducted amount now? Its very urgent. Kindly clarify my doubt.

Dear if your stipend is more than Rs 180000/- than they have the right to deduct TDS but if not and they have deducted and also they have deposited it with the department you can claim refund.
But for what reason they have deducted if your stipend limit is less than Rs 180000/-
