Hi Guys

Querry - Is TDS provisions applicable in Service Tax ? If yes, then is ther any one particular rate for all services or different rate for different service.

Plz tell me the TDS rate for Technical or Professional Service and works contract service.

hi, yes TDS provision is applicable on service tax @ rate 10%+Surcharge( if applicable)+ Edu. cess . also for technical & professional services TDS rate is 10%+Surcharge( if applicable)+ Edu. cess and in case of work contract tds rate is 2%+Surcharge( if applicable)+ Edu. cess
