My company had deducted only 1 % instead of 2 % for a client. After 4 years, we realized this and we have now paid the short deduction along with interest. My query is whether the client will get credit of TDS of this short deducted amount for that relevant year??
If you have revised the return after the payment, it will get reflected in his Form 26AS.
