I think shall we adjust the same payment for subsequent months payment. EG. TDS additionally paid 10K u/s 194J. Same challan serial number can be used for subsequent months deductions for same challan.
Here the benefit of having an Axis Bank Account is that it confirms you if you are making same payment twice in Net Banking Portal. That's an interesting feature.
Yes you can also pay for subsequent month.

You can also adjust the TDS amout from subsequent month liability , don't panic at all
