how to calculate the tds on salary of any employee. and also provide with any example. ?

ex

let salary package - 400000
deduct allowance - 60000
deductions - 50000
estimated taxable salary - 290000

tax slab - 4000
deduct rebate - 2000
add cess - 60

estimated tax payable 2060
divide by 12

monthly TDS - 172
